Jane Gatewood serves as vice provost for global engagement at the University of Rochester where she leads and manages initiatives related to the university's global activities. In this role, she oversees the institution's international initiatives, focusing on the identification and development of partnership opportunities in research, teaching, and education. Her administrative experience includes developing complex bi- and multi-lateral international partnerships for research, educational mobility, and economic development across cultures and educational sectors. Gatewood holds a BA from Emory University and a PhD from the University of Georgia. She was a Fulbright-Nehru awardee and an Andrew W. Mellon Fellow at the School of Advanced Study at the University of London.
