Access NAFSA

Four institutions, from a strong and diverse set of submitted nominees, were chosen by the selection committee to receive the Senator Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization in 2017 and are profiled in depth in this 15th edition of the annual report published by NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Three other institutions received the Senator Paul Simon Spotlight Award for their outstanding accomplishments in specific areas of internationalization.

The four institutions awarded the 2017 Senator Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization are:

• Florida State University
• Santa Monica College
• University of Iowa
• University of Pittsburgh

The three institutions receiving the Senator Paul Simon Spotlight Award for outstanding accomplishments in specific areas of internationalization are:

• Spelman College
• Texas Christian University
• University of North Texas
