Event Registration - NAFSA Virtual Advocacy Day 2021
Tuesday, April 20, 2021
Wednesday, April 21, 2021
2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time

The global coronavirus pandemic and the 2020 general election will impact international education in significant and lasting ways. Be a powerful voice to support and sustain the field! Join NAFSA for its first ever all-virtual Advocacy Day for insider-analysis of the political landscape in Washington and the messages, asks, and tactics that will best serve the students, scholars, and policies that matter to you.

This year’s format features exclusive pre-recorded, on-demand training and a half-day of live, virtual training and strategizing with NAFSA policy experts and your peers. Following that, you will be fully prepared to engage with your lawmakers—from the comfort of your (home) office. As always, NAFSA will arrange personal meetings with your elected officials or their staff in both the Senate and House of Representatives but new this year, these meetings will be conducted virtually.

Please contact Erica Stewart with any questions regarding this event.

This two day event will be:

  • Day 1 - April 20, 2021 2:00 PM ET - 5:00 PM ET
  • Day 2 - April 21, 2021 10:00 AM ET - 5:00 PM ET
